September – Favorites

As an interior designer, September is a month that truly ignites my creativity when it comes to home decor. Fall brings with it a sense of warmth and coziness, and I revel in the opportunity to infuse these qualities into my designs. Rich, earthy tones become my palette of choice, with deep oranges, warm browns, and muted greens taking center stage. Texture plays a pivotal role in creating a tactile and inviting environment, so I often incorporate plush throw blankets, knitted cushions, and rustic wooden accents. Candles in autumnal scents like cinnamon and apple spice not only add to the ambiance but also provide a comforting glow. A beautifully arranged centerpiece of seasonal foliage, such as dried leaves, pumpkins, and gourds, serves as a focal point in dining spaces. And let’s not forget the allure of a crackling fireplace, radiating warmth and making the living room the ultimate retreat.

September is the time to celebrate the changing season, and my fall home decor favorites are all about embracing the charm and coziness of this special time of year.
