Privacy
This page explains what happens to the information you share with me through this website. I follow Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and Ontario requirements.
What I collect
What you type into the contact form or the project questionnaire: your name, email, phone number, how you'd like me to reach you, how you found me, the city of your project, details about your space, your routine, your style, your timing, your budget range and who else takes part in the decisions, plus anything else you write. If you email me photos or plans afterwards, I keep those too. The website uses an analytics service provider to count visits and see which pages are useful. It does not use advertising tools or tracking cookies, and it does not identify you. Your device's address is visible to the services that deliver the site's pages, fonts and blog content, as it is with any website.
Why
To reply to you, to understand your project, and to suggest the right way for us to work together. I do not use it for anything else.
Who it's shared with
Nobody for their own purposes. Your answers pass through a form-handling service provider that delivers them to my email, and are kept in my email account, which is run by an email service provider. My website is run by our website host. These providers handle your information only to provide their service to me.
Where it may be processed
A service provider may store or process your information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be accessible to local authorities under local law.
How long I keep it
If we work together, I keep your information for the length of the project and as long as tax and business records require afterwards. If we don't, I delete it within two years of your last message, or sooner if you ask.
Your consent, and changing your mind
By sending a form you agree that I may use what you shared to follow up about your project. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to me. I will then stop using your information and delete it, unless the law requires me to keep it.
See or correct your information
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Write to hello@thyaraportointeriors.com and I will answer within 30 days.
