Frequently Asked Questions
Do you design commercial spaces in London, Ontario?
+
Yes. I work on offices, retail stores, clinics, salons, restaurants and other commercial interiors in London, Ontario and the surrounding area, from the first layout through to construction drawings. Design-only work such as layouts, concepts and 3D renderings can also be done remotely.
Can you prepare drawings for a commercial building permit?
+
I prepare the full drawing set: floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, details and schedules. In Ontario, permit drawings must be signed by a BCIN-qualified designer, architect or engineer, who reviews the package and takes responsibility for it. I coordinate that review and sign-off, so you don't have to manage it yourself.
Can you help before I sign a lease?
+
Yes. A test-fit layout shows whether a space fits your staff, equipment and customers before you commit, and gives you a clear picture of what the fit-out will involve.
Do you work with my contractor or landlord?
+
Yes. I can work with the contractor you choose or help you get comparable quotes from a complete drawing set, and the drawings and renderings can be shared with your landlord for approval.
How is a commercial project priced?
+
Every project is quoted after a free discovery call, based on the size of the space, the services you need and the drawings required.
